MISIS Student Basics       In-Person

Brief Outline

To equip staff with the necessary skills to view and update basic student data.

Intended Outcomes

By the end of workshop delegates will be able to:

  • Use different methods for searching for students on MISIS
  • Access MISIS Core
  • View and amend names, addresses, telephones and emails and other general person data
  • View disability data and supplementary information
  • Update student comments
  • Understand the concept of general student records; terms and e-terms; CRNs and module and component registrations
  • View general student data such as programme information, module registrations, holds, interruptions and withdrawals, enrolment statuses, attributes
  • View some areas of assessment and academic history
  • View details of ordered ID cards and letters
  • View student holds
  • Add and delete modules using myUniHub

Target Audience

Staff who are required to update basic student data in MISIS Core.

Pre-requisites

To have attended MISIS Core Introduction or have previous MISIS Core experience.

Training Method

Trainer led session, hands-on workshop using MISIS Core.
