To ensure Purchasing Cardholders understand the terms of use; i.e. how and when cards should be used, recording expenditure in PAFIS and associated reconciliation procedures.

By the end of the course users will be able to:

  • Understand terms of use including the travel, subsistence and expense policy
  • Know how to manage their NatWest online account
  • Create a procurement card claim in PAFIS
  • Understand and apply VAT on purchasing card claims, how to handle exceptions and further guidance for VAT related queries
  • Understand importance and timelines for procurement card reconciliation
  • Know who the key contacts are in Financial Services and the Procurement Office
  • Know how to use the intranet to find guidance materials
