Originality reports within Turnitin
Turnitin offers variety of tools to help you mark students’ work whether you mark on your own or as part of a team.
Originality Reports are the documents Turnitin produces to identify incidences where the system has found a match between a student’s coursework submission and Turnitin’s database of previously submitted student papers and other online text sources (website, digital books and the like). Often colleagues don’t know how to understand the report results which can have a negative effect on the students grade. One of or experts will explain how to interpret the results and explain the percentage numbers.
