- Clarify the benefits and the process of the University's appraisal scheme
- Explain how appraisals are used within the wider performance management framework to enhance performance
- Understand the importance of SMART objectives in supporting personal growth and development
- Effectively use the Leadership Framework to support appraisal conversations and formulate development plans
- Explore the opportunities available to support them with their development goals
