Brief outline:

As MDX we put our students first.

This staff induction positions a university-wide induction around student and academic staff journeys, to provide staff with an understanding of the student and academic cycle, processes and own role in contributing to and supporting student experience and success. 

Learning outcomes:

By the end of the session, staff will understand:

• how individual roles impact the student experience, providing a holistic view of how individuals fit into the broader university ecosystem
• how every role or function area impacts the students’ experience, and how individuals and teams align with the strategy and institutional goals
• how each area collaborates and integrates to provide interconnected support
• the expectations on staff and their contribution to the student experience
• our shared values and community-oriented mindset
