Research and Knowledge Exchange Organisation (RKEO) Online

This session is for: All academic and research staff who are new to the university and staff changing roles

Brief outline:

This staff induction session is to provide an understanding of RKEO and how it can support staff involved in research.

Learning outcomes:

By the end of the session, staff will have:

an overview of the research and Knowledge Exchange (KE) performance of the university
a brief survey of the structure of research (centres, groups etc.)
a brief summary of research culture, research/KE and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), and expectations around research integrity
an understanding of the university’s performance expectations (KPIs, REF2029 etc.); repository
knowledge of training and support, as well as career development, for researchers
awareness of support for doing research and KE in the Research and Knowledge Exchange Office (RKEO).
