Reflecting on Different Approaches to Supervision In-Person / Online

In this session we will explore the criteria for UKCGE supervision accreditation, one of which is to provide a ‘narrative’ statement of your supervisory practice. This session is scheduled towards the end of the series so that you can bring the accumulated ideas and inspirations from the previous sessions you have attended. A narrative application facilitates the presentation of different approaches to supervision and the use of concepts/frameworks that will help you articulate what knowledge, positionality and experience inform how you practice and what matters most to you in that engagement with your students. There will be commonalities and differences from which we can all learn. The UKCGE welcomes a diversity of perspectives.  Kate will look at the conceptual frameworks with you and Dox, who has successfully gone through the UKCGE accreditation process and is now a reviewer for UKCGE, is delighted to share her guidance with you.
