Microsoft Teams and OneDrive – Handling Files Online

Teams and OneDrive provide an effective way to store and share files. This workshop can get you started, use more effectively and make an informed decision about when to use which.

In this workshop attendees will learn about:

setting up teams and channels
uploading, accessing and sharing Files in chats, channels and meetings

You will learn how to:

send links to files in Teams from Outlook
edit messages in chats
make announcements in Teams and gain colleagues attention who are not currently logged into Teams
delete, recover and sync files.

You will also get a basic understading of how to utilise the OneDrive effectively covering things such as accessing the OneDrive from your device. You will learn about how to upload and sync files, sharing files with colleagues and the allocation of viewing and editing permissions. Deleting and recovering deleted files is explored.

We aren't currently provided with Apple Macs to provide support and provide training but the features and functions available when using a corporate licence should be the same as on corporate windows machines.
