Mental wellbeing 1-1 drop-in session with Alisha Gohil Online
Location: Virtual via MS Teams
Session outline:
Working through periods of significant change and uncertainty can be challenging and you may feel a mix of emotions like confusion, anxiety, stress and overwhelm. Whilst these feelings are a normal part of facing uncertainty, you do not have to deal with them alone.
These one-to-one drop-in sessions are about giving you a safe space to talk about whatever is on your mind and exploring appropriate coping strategies and wellbeing resources to help you.
Each drop-in will be run by one of the Inclusion and Wellbeing Team’s trained Mental Health First Aiders:
- Alisha Gohil, Equality Diversity and Inclusion Manager
- Aimee Tallon, Health and Safety Officer
- Rob McDonough, Head of Health Safety and Wellbeing.
The Mental Health First Aider running this drop-in will be: Alisha Gohil
What can you expect:
- 30 minutes one-to-one with a trained Mental Health First Aider
- A safe and confidential space for you to talk about what is on your mind
- Listening without any judgment or assumptions
- Genuine empathy and support
- Practical coping strategies and signposting to resources as appropriate
