Risk Assessment Training Online

Aims:

To build on the introductory training and develop a practical understanding of the principles of risk assessment and related documentation, including risk profiles, safe systems of work, and method statements.

Objectives:

To understand the requirements of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and associated University procedures.
To be able to complete a suitable and sufficient risk assessment.

Achieved by:

Receiving information in an interactive training context.
Group discussions on risk assessment, risk profiles, safe systems of work, and method statements.
Undertaking a group risk assessment exercise.
Completing and submitting an individual risk assessment within three weeks of the training.
